BPGS Project Announcement: Bracebridge I Residential
April 4, 2026 3:55 pmBPGS Construction is proud to announce, Bracebridge I Residential, an upcoming mixed-use residential development located at the former MBNA headquarters campus in Wilmington, Delaware.
The project will transform a portion of the existing property into a market rate community. The structure will feature amenity spaces designed to support modern urban living.
Bracebridge I reflects the continued redevelopment of Downtown Wilmington through thoughtful planning, adaptive reuse, and large-scale residential construction. The project contributes to ongoing investment and revitalization efforts by BPGS Construction, Buccini Pollin Group, and our partners.
Construction is scheduled to begin this summer and will include extensive interior and exterior improvements necessary to reposition the site for residential use while enhancing functionality and long-term value.
Once completed, Bracebridge I will feature:
- 202 residential apartment units
- New amenity and shared community spaces
- Mixed-use components integrated into the development
- Modernized infrastructure and building systems
As BPGS Construction continues to deliver complex developments throughout the region, Bracebridge I will join several recently completed and upcoming residential projects including:
- The Press | Wilmington, DE — Completed in 2025, The Press features 243 residential units across a 14-story tower and adjacent duplex building, along with elevated indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
- Rowhaus | Wilmington, DE — Currently under construction at Justison Landing, Rowhaus will bring 164 luxury apartment units to the Wilmington Riverfront along with rooftop amenities, fitness spaces, and coworking areas.
- Aurora Place | Wilmington, DE — Currently under construction on Market Street, Aurora Place is redeveloping the former Delaware College of Art and Design building into a 44-unit residential community featuring studio and one-bedroom apartments.
- The Asters | Newark, DE — Currently under construction at the University of Delaware STAR Campus, The Asters will deliver 229 apartment units across two seven-story buildings connected by a skybridge with resort-style amenities and coworking spaces.
ResideBPG will manage residential leasing for all five communities.
