BPGS Construction Observes 2026 Construction Safety Week
May 8, 2026 2:34 pmAt BPGS Construction, safety is important each and every day of the year. This year for Construction Safety Week field teams across multiple active projects, gathered for focused, hands-on safety discussions to reinforce best practices directly on the ground.
Work at Height: Lifts and Fall Protection
At Rowhaus and Kirkwood Sports Complex, teams focused on working at height and the risks associated with elevated construction activities. At Rowhaus, discussions centered on the safe operation of boom and scissor lifts, coordination in active work zones, and maintaining awareness when multiple pieces of equipment are in use.
At Kirkwood Sports, crews reviewed fall protection requirements and reinforced consistent use of protective systems during elevated work. Both discussions emphasized maintaining awareness of changing site conditions and ensuring proper safeguards are in place during ongoing operations.
Scaffolding and Ladder Safety in Active Work Areas
At the Brandywine Zoo, the team held a lunchtime safety stand-down focused on scaffolding safety, including access, setup conditions, and working around active scaffold operations. At Aurora Place, crews reviewed ladder safety practices, including proper setup, inspection, and stable use within active work zones.
Focused on Safety
Across all projects, Safety Week discussions reflected site-specific conditions and active work activities. While topics varied, each conversation focused on reinforcing safe practices in real time and maintaining awareness of hazards associated with daily construction operations.
These field-based engagements continue to support clear communication, consistent safety practices, and coordination across all phases of work. BPGS remains committed to jobsite safety through ongoing training, communication, and project-level coordination.
