The Press is a 243-unit, $59 million multifamily development in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, featuring a 14-story residential tower and duplex community on a 1.15-acre urban site. Designed by Perkins Eastman, the project includes studio through three-bedroom apartments with high-end finishes and amenities such as a rooftop deck, resident lounges, porte-cochere, landscaped courtyard, and pool.

Constructed using post-tensioned concrete, the tower features extensive ground-level girder spans and a tapering floor plate above the fourth floor. A unitized curtain wall system of more than 2,300 panels was installed at a pace of nearly one floor every two weeks. Despite challenges including inclement weather, shipping port closures, and complex structural conditions, BPGS delivered the project on schedule through proactive coordination, innovative planning, and disciplined execution.
