Designed by Gensler, FNB Financial Center is a 26-story, Class A office tower that redefines Pittsburgh’s Central Business District. Rising over 400 feet, this landmark development is the  first commercial building on the former site of the Pittsburgh Civic Arena and the first multi-tenant office tower in downtown Pittsburgh in four decades. FNB Financial Center is LEED Gold certified, anchoring Pennsylvania’s first LEED Gold for Neighborhood Design district and setting a new standard for sustainable urban development.

BPGS Construction served as the development and construction management firm, ensuring seamless execution from initial planning through completion. The team collaborated closely with Architect of Record, Gensler, engineers, and key stakeholders to oversee design management, jurisdictional coordination, community engagement, and investor relations.

Structural Composition:

  • Solid Post-Tension Concrete on Floors 1-5
  • Concrete Core throughout, every office level (22 stories) features a poured concrete floor on metal deck
  • Glass Curtain Wall on entire building facade, approximately 250,000 SF of glass
  • Steel beams, columns, and deck were used on 25 stories

The tower is part of an innovative partnership between public and private entities, community organizations, lead investor F.N.B. Corporation, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and lead developer Buccini Pollin Group, in order to share the prosperity generated by the Lower Hill Redevelopment with the Historic Hill District.
