Kirkwood Sports Complex Reaches Major Milestone
July 3, 2026 8:26 pmA major milestone has been reached at Kirkwood Sports Complex with the completion of the athletic fields.
This work is part of the first major capital improvement project at the facility since the mid-1990s. BPGS Construction is delivering a series of upgrades that will improve field performance, increase durability, and enhance the experience for athletes, families, and tournament organizers.
Completed improvements include:
- Replacement of the existing synthetic turf field
- Conversion of four natural grass fields to all-weather synthetic turf
- Installation of new sports lighting
- Improvements to the remaining natural grass fields
The new all-weather turf fields will provide more consistent playing conditions and support increased field usage throughout the year, while the lighting upgrades improve visibility for practices, games, and tournaments.
With the athletic fields complete, work will continue on the remaining phases of the project. BPGS Construction is proud to help deliver improvements that will serve the Kirkwood Sports Complex and the surrounding community for years to come.
