At BPGS Construction, our embrace innovative solutions to deliver exceptional results for every project. Meet Matt Olkewicz, Project Engineer I and Temple University graduate.

Q. Why did you choose BPGS Construction over other construction companies?
A. “I chose BPGS because the company offers a unique experience to work in an environment of a small company but still be exposed to a very diverse portfolio of projects that you would expect at a larger company.”

Q. What are some of the larger projects you have worked on at BPGS?
A. “In 2025 we completed The Press, a two-building apartment complex consisting of a 14-story tower and a 4-story duplex building. This apartment complex included a 4th-story roof-top lounge, pool, dark park, and a grilling station.”

Q. What are the benefits of working for a smaller company like BPGS?
A. “Working for a smaller company gives you an opportunity to take more of a responsibility and be exposed to far more at an earlier stage of your career than larger companies. You get an opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects as well.”

Q. How long have you been with the company?
A. “I will be approaching 3 years in January.”

Q. What is your favorite part of working for BPGS?
A. “My favorite part of working for BPGS is the culture and the people. Everyone is friendly and willing to help which results in a very tight group of coworkers.”

Outside of work, Matt likes to play golf and watch Seinfeld.
