Q. Why did you choose BPGS?
A. “I chose BPGS because of the family feel. From the beginning, everyone seemed to know each other, and people were genuinely excited to talk and work with one another. When I started, everyone was welcoming and made an effort to get to know me. BPGS is place where I could see myself growing.”
Q. What would you say to a college student that is about to graduate to encourage them to choose BPGS as a part of their career path?
A. “BPGS is a great place to learn, ask questions, and figure out what you enjoy. You get exposure to different parts of construction and have the opportunity to spend time both in the office and out in the field. Everyone is willing to help you learn”
Q. What are the benefits of working for a smaller company like BPGS?
A. “One of the biggest benefits is getting to know your coworkers on a more personal level and feeling like you are truly part of something. You don’t feel like you’re just another number in a crowd. Because BPGS is a smaller company, your work is noticed and recognized, and you have more opportunities to take on responsibility and make an impact.”
Q. What made you join the construction industry?
A. “I love that construction is such a fast-moving industry where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to learn. Being able to see something go from paper to an actual finished product is one of the things that make construction so rewarding to me.”
Outside of work, Samantha likes vacationing on the ski slopes.
