BPGS Kicks Off 25th Anniversary

On February 17, 1999, BPGS Construction was founded as an affiliate company of the Buccini Pollin Group (BPG) and has since grown from a small fit-out contractor to one of the largest construction & development management firms in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 25 years, BPGS has developed nearly 50 ground-up builds throughout the nation, from New York to Portland, D.C. to Nashville, Pittsburgh to New Orleans as well as countless renovations and fit-out projects.

To kick off our 25th anniversary year, BPGS hosted a happy hour with BPG in February to celebrate the foundation and partnership between the companies. During the event, associates from all departments came together in honor of this milestone, leadership reminisced on the past 25 years and shared a celebratory toast, and guests were challenged to a game of BPGS Bingo for a chance to win commemorative swag!

President Wes Schwandt expressed his gratitude for all who the associates who have made this anniversary possible: “When I think about this company [BPGS], I think about the professionalism and dedication, but most importantly, the character. The character of everyone within BPGS and BPG is what holds us together through thick and thin. That is what makes it so special for me to come to work everyday.”

Executive Vice President John Groth echoed these sentiments: “As we reflect, it’s not just a pride in what we’ve accomplished as an organization, but who we are and what we are today. It is certainly something we all can be proud of.”

As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of BPGS Construction, we plan to honor and recognize each of the individuals who have shared in our success. What better way to kick off the festivities than to look inward at the associates whose passion and hard work will carry BPGS into the next 25 years.
