At BPGS Construction, our associates embody the principles of responsibility, accountability, and honesty in every project. Meet Calie Ferris, Project Engineer I and Temple University graduate.

Q. Why did you choose BPGS Construction over other construction companies?
A. “I met BPGS at my career fair at Temple University and was invited to their recruiting event. At the event, I was genuinely impressed by the welcome and enthusiasm from the team. They were approachable and passionate about what they do. Being part of a great team and getting to work on hands-on projects made it an easy decision to choose BPGS.”

Q. What makes BPGS Unique?
A. “BPGS can provide me with great experiences and opportunities. It’s a place where I can grow and be a part of a great work-life community.”

Q. What would you say to a college student that is about to graduate to encourage them to choose BPGS as a part of their career path?
A. “BPGS has an amazing company culture. They value teamwork and building relationships with coworkers. BPGS has a wide range of projects that offer challenges and opportunities to learn. You get real, hands-on experience early in your career, and you’re supported by a group of people who want to see you succeed.”

Q. What made you join the construction industry?

A. “I have always liked the idea of being able to build and create something. It’s exciting knowing you are part of building something on such a large scale. I also interned at a construction company and knew I liked being in the field— the fast pace, problem-solving, and seeing progress day by day really appealed to me.”

Outside of work, Calie likes to go snowboarding in the winter, to the beach in the summer, and read as much as she can.
