BPGS Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Subcontractor Appreciation Event

On February 17, 1999, BPGS Construction was founded as an affiliate company of the Buccini Pollin Group (BPG) and has since grown from a small fit-out contractor to one of the largest construction & development management firms in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In 25 years, BPGS has developed nearly 50 ground-up builds throughout the nation, from New York to Portland, D.C. to Nashville, Pittsburgh to New Orleans as well as countless renovations and fit-out projects.

To recognize this incredible milestone, we planned time throughout the year to celebrate with each of individuals who have shared in our success. Everyday the BPGS team relies on various subcontractors to meet the needs of each project. These partnerships are integral to the expectational buildings we pride ourselves on, and we couldn’t do it without them.

In June, BPGS hosted a Subcontractor Appreciation Event at Union Yards, the Philadelphia Union’s brand new brew hall and tailgate zone! Subcontractors, both longstanding and new partners, joined us for an afternoon of camaraderie over drinks, delicious food, and cigar rolling.

During the event, President Wes Schwandt, EVP of Construction John Groth, and SVP of Construction Cole Flickinger expressed their gratitude to our subcontractors, recognizing those who have been working with us for over two decades.

Additionally, we took a moment to celebrate Cole Flickinger’s 25th anniversary with BPGS. As the company’s first associate, Cole is key to the the excellence of our projects and growth of our people.

We would like to thank all our subcontractors for their partnership, expertise, hard work, and friendship over the last 25 years.
