230 Foot Smokestack Implosion
November 2, 2017 7:00 amA 230-foot smokestack was demolished Sunday morning on October 15th just after 8 a.m. by way of implosion. The demolition took about 10 seconds was performed by Maryland-based Controlled Demolition, Inc.
The implosion took place in order to clear the area for BPGS’s project, Rockford Falls. Watch the short video below to view the implosion from two different vantage points.
